Prof Sumit Dhwane is a researcher and educator in chemical engineering, specializing in Waste Valorisation, Clean energy, Biofuels production, and Process Intensification. His work integrates advanced reactor design, recyclable nano catalyst, Green Hydrogen and Bio-jet fuel Production, CO2 conversion, and AI-driven process optimization to enable scalable and sustainable solutions for the energy transition and decarbonisation. Currently, He serves as a Visiting Professor at COPPE, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), funded by the Federal Government of Brazil. He has been recognized as a BRICS Young Scientist (2023) and selected as a SSHN Fellow (2025) to visit IC2MP, University of Poitiers, France. Alongside over a decade of academic and research experience, He has built strong industry academia partnerships and contributed to successful international projects and funding initiatives. Skilled in project leadership, proposal development, and multidisciplinary collaboration, he actively mentors early-career researchers and fosters networks that drive innovation aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
