Conférence « Intercalation processes in MXenes: new insights from X-ray and optical spectroscopies »

par Tristan Petit, Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin für Materialien und Energie (HZB) – ALLEMAGNE

 Lieu : Salle UMR, 1er étage B27, IC2MP

Short biography of Tristan Petit:

Tristan Petit leads the Young Investigator Group Nanoscale Solid-Liquid Interfaces at Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin für Materialien und Energie (HZB) in Germany since 2021. He obtained master degrees from ISAE-Supaéro, France and ETH Zürich, Switzerland in 2010 and a PhD in Physics from ENS Cachan, France in 2013. He then joined HZB as a postdoctoral researcher where he received an Alexander von Humboldt postdoctoral fellowship (2013-2015), a Freigeist Fellowship from the Volkswagen Foundation in 2015 and an ERC Starting Grant in 2020. His research focuses on in situ/operando spectroscopy of carbon nanomaterials and MXenes for energy conversion and storage applications. More precisely, his group is developing advanced synchrotron-based X-ray and optical spectroscopies to elucidate (photo)electrochemical processes at solid-liquid interfaces. He has co-authored more than 50 articles and has an h-index of 27.
