Present responsibilities

- Co-leader of the research group “Catalysis in unconventional media” at IC2MP (31 people including 2 CNRS research directors, 1 CNRS senior researcher, 2 professors, 6 assistant professors, 3 CNRS researchers, 3 technicians, 4 postdocs and 10 PhD)

- Co-director of the GDR “BIOMATPRO” which is a joint CNRS-INRA network of French research teams (36 teams) working in the chemical valorization of lignocellulosic biomass to chemicals and materials.

- Since 2013, secretary of the executive committee of the French division of catalysis (DIVCAT)

- PI of CELLULOCAT (from French National Agency)-funded program on the catalytic conversion of cellulose to surfactants (2009-2013).

- Chairman of the International Symposium of Green Chemistry (edition 2015) that will be held in La Rochelle-FRANCE from May 3rd to May 7th, 2015, (www.isgc2015.com, 600 attendees)

- Chairman (with J. Barrault) of the 2nd International Symposium of Green Chemistry : Renewable Carbon and Eco-efficient Processes (ISGC2) that was organized at La Rochelle-FRANCE from May 21st to May 24th, 2013, (550 attendees, from 37 different countries).
